9th Meeting in Functional Biology and Biotecnology of Plants
We are pleased to announce the 5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting, which will be organized by the Master's program in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology at the University of Porto in the framework of the EUGLOH Alliance. The event will take place at the Faculty of Science, University of Porto, on November 10th, offering in-person participation and the option to join remotely via online video streaming (a hybrid edition).

Oral presentations and Poster presentations must be done in English
Oral presentations will last 10 minutes and with 5 minutes of discussion
Selected oral poster presentation will last 3 minutes and the discussion is done after all session presentations
For oral presentation it is necessary to send your abstract until 27th October
For poster presentation you must send the abstract until 27th October and poster file until 5th November
Documents must be submitted respecting the deadline for each type of presentation/document

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Registration Deadline as a regular participant: November 5th, 2025
HOW DO I WATCH THE PRESENTATIONS?
Registrations can only be made online through the website. Tickets will only be requested in the “REGISTER” section on the official website of the 5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting 2025.
After clicking the "CLICK TO REGISTER" button, a schedule page will be displayed. Below the word "schedule" is a "GET TICKETS" button, just click on it and you will be redirected to another page. Select the quantity of 1 ticket and Click checkout and fill in the form data and send. You will receive the registration confirmation in your email.
TEMPLATE FOR ABSTRACT AND POSTERS
Templates for abstract and posters can be found in the section “SUBMISSION AREA" of the site. There you can check the templates and you must use them before submitting your presentation whether for oral or poster presentation.

How to Submit an Abstract to my Oral presentation?
Abstracts can only be submitted online via the abstract submission website that can be found in the section “SUBMISSIOM AREA” on the official 5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting 2025 website.
After clicking on the submission button a Google forms page will open. All fields must be filled out and at the final you can attach your abstract.
Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
Due to time constraints, a restricted number of presentations will be selected. Those who are not selected can still participate through a poster and a flash presentation (3 minutes). All participants will be contacted until October 31st to confirm the type of presentation assigned to them.

HYBRID FORMAT
5th EUGLOH Plant Science Meeting 2025 will take place in a hybrid format both in-Person at the Faculty of Science, University of Porto, and virtually via Zoom. The registration options available include both in-person and virtual only options.
